- 6. Hot glue a 4-inch foam half-ball to each end of the abdomen for the spider’s back end. To make the cephalothorax, wrap a 16-gauge stem wire with fur and hot glue it in place. Attach the cephalothorax to the abdomen by inserting the wire into the foam and hot-gluing it.
- 7. To make the eyes, glue two 8-inch half-sphere wire globes to the front of the cephalothorax. For the final touch, glue a 16-inch half-sphere wire globe to the front of the cephalothorax for the spider’s mouth. Your giant spider is now complete! Hang it up or place it somewhere in your home to spook your guests.
